Leisha was born Oct 23, 1976, in Muskogee, OK to Dale and Debbie Murr. She began school at Hilldale in Muskogee and graduated with honors from Crowley High School in Crowley, TX in 1995. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas in Arlington in 1999. She was co-owner and designer for Artistic Expressions Embroidery in Fort Worth, TX. She loved to play softball and bowl. She was once named Bowler of the Year in Fort Worth and was eventually inducted into the TCBA Hall of Fame in 2014. She received many local, state, and national bowling awards while competing with her friends and teammates.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Raymond and Ethel Ford, and Bob and Lois Moore Murr.
She is survived by her parents, Dale and Deborah Murr, of Fort Worth, TX; brother, Raymond Murr and wife Estelle; sister, Christie Martin and husband Matthew; and nephews and Patrick and Evan Murr, and Brayden and Mason Martin. Other extended family include: Thelma and John Clements, Bobby and Barbara Murr, JoAn and Larry Crabtree, David and Jan Ford, and Dale and Pam Ford, and multiple cousins
