Linda was born Oct. 18, 1961, to Lucien and Cecile Longlais at 6160th United States Air Force Hospital on the Itazuke Air Base in Fukuoka, Japan. Linda graduated from Limestone High School in Limestone, Maine, in 1979. She married David E. Powell on March 11, 2002.
Survivors: Husband, David Powell; children, Christina Ann Gillmen-Smickilas and John Joseph Fredrick Gillmen; grandchildren, Gavin Jaymz Giovanni Smickilas and Gareth Kirk Vincent Smickilas; brothers-in-law, Richard, Andrew and Scott Powell; as well as many other friends and family members.
