Service: 10 a.m. Monday at Gambrell Street Baptist Church, 1616 W Gambrell St., Fort Worth 76115. Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Fort Worth.
Lovell was born in Sugarland in December of 1925 to Ira Doty and Gladys Bragdon. In 1947 she attended Southwest Baptist Seminary and met and married the love of her life, Mart W Payne. They shared 63 wonderful years together. Her family remembers her as a great wife and devoted mother who taught her children and everyone around her, through example, how to be grateful and appreciative of everything. She believed these simple lessons can carry anyone through life. We will miss our beautiful mother.
Survivors: Devoted friend, Jim Biggs; daughter, Glenda Meyer (Robert) of Aledo; son, Keith Payne of Denton; grandchildren, Matthew Meyer (Denise), Jonathan Meyer (Jenni), both of Arlington, Michael Payne (Roxie) of Tustin, Calif., and Rebekah Chaplin (Robbie) of Fort Worth; four great-grandchildren; along with many extended family and dear friends.
