Loveta Inez Wright

Funeral: 3 p.m. Tuesday in Laurel Land Memorial Chapel, Fort Worth.

Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth.

Loveta was born May 19, 1929, in Cleburne. She moved to Fort Worth as a young girl and lived her life in Fort Worth. She married Eddie F. Wright on Dec. 9, 1948, and they were married for 55 years until Eddie's passing in 2004. They were married at the Vickery Boulevard Church of Christ and she remained a member of that church as it merged into other church families for the next 50 years. In the last years of her life, she was a member of Everman Church of Christ near her home.

Family was the most important thing to her, and she hosted family holidays, gatherings of friends and hosted many "Saturday Night Steak Nights" for friends and family.

Survivors: Sons, Jeff Wright and Phil Wright and his wife, Grace; grandchildren, Casey Wright, Kristen Ballard and Jennifer Dobson; great-grandchildren, Claire Wright, Cate Wright, Walker Ballard, Lucy Ballard, Hunter Bridges, Jaron Tapley and Kai Dobson; sister, Wanda Cox and brother-in-law, Johnny Cox; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives; and a host of friends.
