

Lucian held degrees from 4 institutions: University of Buffalo, University of Kansas, University of Texas at Arlington and Tarrant County College.
Upon graduating from the University of Buffalo, Lucian was commissioned as an officer and entered military service in the United States Air Force. He served in the Vietnam War with forces in Thailand and he taught Air Force ROTC at the University of Kansas. He was a member of the United States Air Force Reserve (retired) and was a Disabled American Veteran. Upon separating from the Air Force, Lucian served as a school counselor in Fort Worth and as a technical specialist in the US Department of Education’s Office of Civil Rights in Dallas.
After his retirement Lucian served his local community in Citizens on Patrol (COPS), Wedgwood West, as census worker and election clerk, as mediator for the Dispute Resolution Services of Tarrant County, as officer of the United Ostomy Association of Fort Worth, and he volunteered at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, assisting with the Memorials Inventory Project of the National Cemetery Administration. He traveled the world including visits to all 50 states in the US and many countries outside of the US.
He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his wife Carole, sister Joan O'Connor, Son-in-law Anthony Allred and parents Helen and Lucian Siepielski, Sr. He is survived by his daughter Michelle Allred, grandchildren Scott and Collin Fleek, Heather and Jason Richardson, great grandson Anthony Richardson, and brothers Richard and Robert Siepielski and their wives and children.
He will be buried in a private ceremony at the DFW National Cemetery.
