Lucille was born on March 25, 1920 in Fort Worth to Paul and Lucille Auerbach. She was one of six children. Lucille married her husband, Frank, April 25, 1942. They enjoyed cars, riding motorcycles and flying airplanes. While growing up in a baseball family, Lucille always loved to watch baseball. She was quick to critique the plays and decisions of the game. She was a Sunday School teacher for the youth of her church for many years. Although Lucille was typically on the shy side, she wouldn't hesitate to demonstrate her quick wit when the opportunity arose. She was also a very loving and caring wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Lucille always put everyone else first. After the passing of her husband of forty-four years in 1986, she moved to Weatherford to Arbor House Retirement Village. She lived each and every day thinking and talking about her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Frank; parents, Paul and Lucille Auerbach; brothers, Lee Paul Auerbach, Norman Auerbach and Bobby Auerbach; and sisters, Mildred Roach and Hallie Dennis.
Survivors: son, Frank Thomas and wife Garla, of Aledo; grandchildren, Tyson and wife Karis, of Katy, Colby, of Aledo, and Brady, of Lafayette, LA.; great-grandchild, Parker, of Katy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A special heartfelt thanks to Arbor House for their dedication and caring for Lucille over the years.
