November 26, 1959 - October 15, 2021 Fort Worth, Texas - Manuel passed away in his home on Friday, 10/15/21. Manuel was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. Graduated from Trimble Tech High School. He was currently employed by McClatchy, he was a loyal and dedicated employee who took pride in his work.
Manuel's Hobbies included hiking, camping and traveling. He also had his love of ballet folklorico dancing. He started dancing back in high school, because this is where all the girls were. After taking the classes, he fell in love with the art and beauty of folklorico dancing.
Folklorico dancing took him on a tour to Europe that spiked his interest in traveling to other places to learn and record the different styles of this beautiful art. Manuel danced for over 40 years, and was a beloved teacher and dancer. He loved not only teaching his students the dances of his culture, but also creating a passion for the love of folklorico. He enjoyed performing and took great pride in watching his students perform and showed them as much with his famous "grito'. Manuel will be greatly missed, but the inspiration and passion he leaves behind in all his dancers will always be remembered and carried forward.
