December 28, 1934 – June 29, 2025
Fort Worth, TX
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Margaret Ann Bryan, who left us on June 29, 2025. Margaret was a beloved wife, mother, Mimi, sister, friend, and cherished member of her community. Margaret, was also known as “Dot” by those that were closest to her.
Born on December 28, 1934 in Fort Worth, TX, Margaret Ann Bryan was the child of Bessie and Samuel Hamer. In her early years, Margaret enjoyed most of her time with her two sisters, Betty and Wanda.
A proud and dedicated woman, Margaret worked at the Tarrant County Courthouse for many years, where she had the privilege of working with esteemed judges such as Hon. Joe Spurlock, Hon. Maryellen Hicks, and Hon. Randy Catterton. Her time there was one of her greatest accomplishments, one she spoke of with immense pride and joy.
However, nothing brought Margaret more pride than her role as a mother to her three children, Roy, Belinda, and Scott, and later becoming “Mimi” to her beautiful grandchildren. Family was the center of Margaret’s world, and she treasured every moment spent with her loved ones. Her warmth, strength, and unwavering love for her family will be remembered forever.
Margaret was also a passionate gardener, with a deep love for flowers. She enjoyed long walks with friends and she was an incredible cook—she found much delight in sharing her culinary creations with others.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and kindness that will be forever cherished by her family, friends, and all who had the honor of knowing her.
Margaret is survived with deep sorrow by her daughter, Belinda Minter, husband Vance; daughter-in-law, Almy Bryan; granddaughters, Candace Smith, Courtney Bradley, Gena Smith and Jennifer Bryan; great-granddaughter, Mia Smith, and many more loving family members and friends.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Bryan Sr.; sons, Roy Bryan Jr. and Scott Bryan; father, Samuel (Sam) Hamer; mother, Bessie Hamer; and sisters, Betty Radke and Wanda Farrar.
