Lucille was born in Baylor County to Mike and Eula Haynes on May 18, 1924. She was the second of nine children. She married Wayne Eidson in 1944 and they moved to California. Following Wayne's Marine Corps service during World War II, they enjoyed the next 24 years in Fort Worth before moving to Burleson. Lucille retired from J.C. Penney. Through the years Lucille and Wayne were very active at Sagamore Hill Baptist in Fort Worth, and later at Retta Baptist in Burleson. Lucille loved her large family dearly and will be greatly missed.
Preceding her in death were her husband of 68 years, Wayne; her sisters, Louise Davidson and Betty Parker Hockett; and brothers, Grady Haynes and Jimmy Haynes.
Survivors: Sons, Mickey and Carolyn of Arlington, David and Rachel Eidson of Mansfield; grandchildren, Keri and Brian McKinney, Kristina and Adam Neal, Lauren and Tim Stephens, Jonathon and Rebecca Eidson; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Thomas, Elizabeth, Gavin, Lukas; sisters, Mary Daymude and Becky Goodwin; and brothers, Jack Haynes and Ray Haynes.
