Margaret Marian Scarborough Massey passed away Monday, July 7, 2014, in Fort Worth. Memorial service: and burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Shannon Rose Hill. She was born July 31, 1931, in Fort Worth to Luther T. and Annie Belle Scarborough. She lived in Fort Worth all but four years of her life. Marian loved playing bridge, antique shopping and collecting. She was a member of Morningside Christian Church until her marriage, when she became a member of the United Methodist Church. She attended Polytechnic High School where she was an honor graduate. Survivors include: her children, Annabelle Malloy (Michael) and Joel Massey; grandchildren, Curran Massey, Lauren Singleton (Keith), Leighanne Massey and Bennett Helber; brothers, Jim Scarborough and Jon Scarborough (Pam); and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Marian cherished her many close friends, including a special group for 76 years. She will be missed by all and celebrated in our own memories of her.
