Maria was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on July 10, 1936 to Joe and Ruth Mudd. She was a graduate of Mount Caramel High School and earned her Real Estate License from Brownsville Community College.
Maria married Don Harris on August 6, 1955 in St. Andrew's Catholic Church. This year they would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. She was a secretary, a Notary and worked with the Barnett Family Real Estate Investments. Her most important job though was being the best mother to her children.
Maria loved birds, flowers and visiting nurseries and gardens seasonally. These things and her family brought her great joy!
Maria was proceeded in death by her parents and her son, John M. Harris.
Maria is survived by her husband, Don; daughters, Lisa Mackey, Julia Hunt and Angela Clark; sons, Tony Harris and Lee Harris; 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Roseanne Cleveland.
