Mark grew up in Western New York and graduated from West Valley Central School in 1978. He was very athletic and played high school football and basketball. After graduation, Mark joined the United States Air Force.
In his spare time, he became a body builder in which he excelled a great deal and received numerous awards and trophies. Mark was also a 2nd degree Black Belt in Martial Arts. After Mark exited the military, he began working for the U.S. Post Office and recently retired due to his illness after 38 years of service.
Mark was always a firm believer in God. He graduated with a Master's degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and became an Ordained Minister in 1999.
Mark leaves to mourn his wife of 25 years, Jojuana Yarbrough Ashraf; 3 children, Jenee Ashraf Boyd of Fort Worth, Texas, and Jasmine Yarbrough (Marcus) of Fort Worth, Texas, and a son, Jordan Yarbrough, also of Fort Worth, Texas; 3 grandchildren, Alexia Kaiden and Jaxsen; one brother, Charles Ashraf of Olean, New York; and a sister, Sonja Ashraf Yarbrough (Robert Glenn) of Arlington, Texas; sister-in-law, Tashlin Yarbrough; brother-in-laws, Davin and Rodney Yarbrough, and Harold Willis; plus several nieces and nephews, and extended family.
Mark was predeceased by his parents, Kasbun and Anna Ashraf; a sister, Sabrina Ashraf Willis; father-in-law, Henry Yarbrough; a brother-in-law, Sheldon (Bink) Yarbrough; and a host of family members who will greet him in Heaven.
