Marlesia Thomas was born on February 24, 1963 in Wortham, Texas, to parents Herbert Fininen and Lillian Fininen. Marlesia attended Dunbar High School. Marlesia was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister. Her hobbies included cooking dinner, spending time with her grandkids, watching cooking shows from different cultures, and dancing. She also loved to shop. She was our protector, loved by her grandkids and her family. She will be missed by us all. Marlesia left this world on April 8, 2025 and is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Lillian Fininen; her sister, Brenda J. Wright; and her great-granddaughter, Kayla Parramore. Those left behind to remember her love are her children, Tamara Thomas, LaTasha Thomas, Nathaniel Adams, Nina Adams, and Phillip McDaniel; brothers, Randy Thomas (Lisa) and Michael Fininen (Angie), all of Fort Worth, Texas; her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.
