Mary was born in 1924 in Concordia, Kan., and married Art Galletly in 1942. When asked her secret for a long marriage, she would say, "Your spouse should be your best friend." She logged in over 3,000 hours of volunteer work for North Hills Hospital. Working around the house she appeared as the Energizer Bunny and enjoyed taking care of the birds in the yard. She made friends easily with her quick wit and charming personality. She was preceded in death by sisters, Wilma Morgan and Pauline Cassity.
Survivors: Her husband of 68 years, Art; sisters, Maisie Solie, Betty Miller, Erma Morehead, Carol Beatty; children, Arthur Jr., Carolyn Acres and Howard Galletly; grandchildren, Alan, Paul and Brennan Galletly; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Kadence and Jamie Galletly.
Arrangements under the direction of Shannon Rufe Snow Drive Funeral Chapel, Fort Worth, TX.
