Mary Elizabeth P. Murdock, 95, of Fort Worth, TX, passed away on Christmas Day, December 25, 2018 in Nashville, TN. Elizabeth was born May 13, 1923 in Dublin, TX to the late Mary Edna Hightower and Henry Roy Pettiet. Elizabeth was married to C. A. Murdock, Jr. at the Big Springs Army Air Field in 1944. Following the war, the two made their life of 49 years in Fort Worth, TX until C. A. passed away in 1993. Elizabeth was the loving mother of two sons and the loving grandmother (Mimi) of one granddaughter and two grandsons. Additionally, Elizabeth was a Presidential sales awardee multiple years for the Avon Corporation, an avid reader and a beautiful seamstress who made most of her clothing and many for her granddaughter.
Elizabeth is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-laws, Stephen and Gay Murdock and Michael and Carol Murdock and three grandchildren including Mac, Katelin and Colin.
A memorial and eulogy service will be held January 5, 2019 at 11am in the Chapel at Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery, 7301 E Lancaster Avenue, Fort Worth, TX, 73112. With a graveside service to follow.
