

Mel Caylor went to be in Heaven on Sunday, June 17, 2012. A loving and devoted Husband and a loving father to all of his children, Mel was born August 18, 1954 in Borger, Texas. He was the third son of Marven and Pauline Caylor. Mel graduated from Nuremberg American High School and served as a radio repair specialist in the U.S. Army. Mel was honorably discharged from the military and went to work at Bell Helicopter where he worked until his passing Sunday.
Mel leaves on earth his beloved wife, Stacy Caylor of Fort Worth; three sons, Eric, Nathan, and Lance Caylor; three daughters, Amanda Caylor of Lumberton, Elizabeth Diese and her husband, Charles of Abilene, and Cydney Caylor of Fort Worth; five grandchildren, "Little Bit" Kimberlynn Wolff, Keillea Caylor, Tryston Walker, "Ry-Ry" Ryan and "Baby Bee" Brookelynn Diese; two brothers, Mike Caylor and his wife, Janice of McKinney, and Monte Caylor and his wife, Pauletta of Alabama; and one sister, Ellen Roberts and her husband, Dean of Eden, OK; and many nieces, nephews and friends that loved him.
Mel put up an amazing fight against esophageal cancer. He was brave as he went though the treatments to keep living for his family. He wanted to provide, and did provide the best he could for his family.
He may be gone from our sight, but he will live forever in the hearts of those that he has touched.
