Mildred SHAKIR, age 91, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022. Mildred was born March 1, 1930 in Marshall, Texas. On February 4, 2022, Mildred departed this world and made her transition to the Lord. She made Fort Worth, Texas her home. She attended Charity Church under leadership of Bishop Mayes where she became the Mother of the Church. She leaves to cherish her memories: daughter, Shirley Gray; son Joseph Carter; DeBorah Woods (David); sisters and brother, Jewel Sallie (Elijah) Peerless (John), Eva (Larry) Herman; a host of grandkids, great-grand, great-great grand, and a host of nieces and nephews and friends. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, Valrie and her father, her husband, Ramey Shakir; daughter, Ruthie Ceasar, brothers, Earnest, James, and Edward and sister, Alice.
