Minnie Lee Alexander

A beautiful baby girl named Minnie Lee Hereford was born December 21, 1934. To Delilah Hereford & Norris Hereford. She was raised in Calvert, Tx. Where she attended Calvert High School. She grew up attending Church in Calvert Tx & proceeded to Attend church in Houston at St. James Missionary Church which she loved. She will truly be missed. Her Hobbies were going fishing, playing bingo & her scratch offs. She enjoyed being a hair dresser in her younger years. As we all know she loved Football precisely The Dallas Cowboys. She worked many years for Wyatt’s Cafeteria in Fort Worth, Tx., where she retired from what is now Luby’s another love of hers she gave her all to. She met a lifetime of friends there.

She was preceded in death by her parents Delilah Hereford & Norris Hereford. Her husband L.C. Alexander, her sister Norvella Thomas & her daughter Linda Adams ( Derrick Adams).

She Leaves to mourn her daughter Sylvia Chopp (Howard Chopp Sr.) and her Son Darrell Alexander (Rhonda Alexander). Sister Artis Walls. Her only granddaughter Tonya Chopp, her grandsons Darrell Blair (Tanya Blair) , Howard Chopp Jr, Rontae Alexander (Jeanisea Alexander ) and Marcus Chopp. Great Granddaughter’s Dai’Janae Barnes, Dezarae Barnes , Kayla Alexander, & Iria Alexander. Great grandsons David Barnes Jr., DaRon Alexander & 11 great great grandchildren.

Nieces Cynthia Williams, Trisha Robertson , Tisha Willams , great niece Antionette Branscomb, & Nephew Dexter Williams.
