Morgan B. Guilford

A Visitation for Morgan will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel, 7301 East Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, Texas 76112 wit a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery.

Morgan was born in Aurora, North Carolina on January 10, 1935 to Lottie Bagnal Guilford and Raymond E. Guilford Sr.

While at Wofford College, he was in the school’s Glee Club and Band. He graduated with a degree in Sociology, and received a commission as a Reserve Officer in the US Army. He served eight years in the active reserves with a final rank of Captain.

He was married to Cynthia Guilford for 60 years. Morgan and Cynthia moved to Mansfield from Atlanta. He was retired from Equifax after 35 years and held a number of management positions including management of computer systems.

Morgan is preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia, parents, Lottie Bagnal Guilford and Raymond E. Guilford Sr., sister, Mary Ann Ely and his brother, Raymond E. Guilford Jr.

Morgan is survived by his brother-in-law, Buck Harris, Jimmy Harris and his wife, Linda. Niece, Laura Ely Lawson, and her husband, William, nephew, Timothy Harris, and wife, Tammy, niece, Cathy Harris Bartolowits, and husband, Joe. Numerous great nephews and great nieces, and great great nephews and nieces.
