George "Larry" Baker at the age of 76 passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019. Celebration of his life will be on Friday, June 21, 2019, 11:00 AM at Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors. Visitation will be on Thursday, from 12-8 PM at the funeral home. Burial: Monday, June 24, 2019 at 1:00 PM, Dallas Fort National Cemetery.Left to cherish his memory; wife, Vickie Baker, son, David Floyd Baker (Cathy Ann); sisters, Edna Baker and Carolyn Davenport; two brothers preceded him in death; Hubert Baker and Charles Baker; two grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives and friendsGeorge was born in Mount Pleasant, Texas. He serviced in the United States Army.He retired from GSA U.S. Government.
