On Monday, June 18, 2018, Emma Marie Johnson surrendered to the call of her Lord and transitioned from earth to glory. Celebrating the Life of Emma will be on Saturday, June 23, 2018 12:00 Noon, Johnson Chapel AME Church 5235 Bonnell Avenue. Burial: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. She leaves to cherish her precious memory: loving husband, Gary Johnson; devoted daughters, Alisha Johnson Mu’min and husband Tariq, Alison Johnson; brother, Presiding Elder Marshall Hobbs, Sr.; five grandchildren, special niece, Monica Hobbs - Woods and god-daughter, Coushatta Murray and a host of other relatives and friends.
