Ms. Brenda Allen

Brenda Delores Mitchell was born on November 14, 1959, at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas to her loving mother, Ozella B. Mitchell and her father, Wade O. Cummings.

Brenda was a proud graduate of Polytechnic High School in Fort Worth, where she made lasting friends and left a positive impression on everyone she met. She later attended the University of North Texas for a few years, pursuing higher education with drive and determination.

Brenda's presence was a gift to all who knew her. Her smile brought peace, comfort and light to those around her. She carried a warmth that made people feel seen, heard and loved. A devoted mother, proud grandmother, cherished sister and loyal friend. Brenda wore many hats, but love was at the center of them all.

Brenda was formerly married to Nathaniel Allen, and from that union came her beloved son, Brandon Allen.

She is survived by her mother, Ozella Mitchell, son, Brandon Allen, her daughter in-law, Brittany Allen and her grandchildren, Brynn Allen, Moriah Allen and Josiah Allen, who were the joy of her life. She also leaves behind her brother, Byron Mitchell; her sister, LaSonya Cummins; her nephew, Bryonn Michell; her niece, Monique Mitchell and a host of extended family members and friends who will carry her memory forward.

Brenda's life was a testament to consistent love, enduring faith and quiet strength. Her legacy lives on in the hearts and lives she touched.
