It is with both sadness and gratitude that we announce the passing of our mother, Nancy Bennett Farries. She gained her angel wings after passing peacefully on April 11, 2026 in Fort Worth. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen
During her 93 years she touched many lives. She was always known as one to have never met a stranger with a very outgoing personality that was sprinkled with humor and found to be entertaining and comforting.
Born in Rockford, Illinois on February 9, 1933, Nancy met her beloved husband William C. Farries while attending LSU in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who predeceased her in 2002.
Nancy is survived by her four children: Cynthia Ann Firmery (Steve), Susan Katherine Moses (Tim), Barbara Eileen Addleman (Boe), and James Scott Farries (Nancy). Eight grandchildren: Justin Puckett, Paige Sherrick (Blake), Stephanie Moses, Warner Moses, Grant Moses, Kyle Addleman, Kiefer Addleman and Koby Farries. Four great-grandchildren: Collins Puckett, Pierce Puckett, Palmer Sherrick and Campbell Sherrick.
