She is survived by four daughters: Patsy Smith, Lois Tuttle, Mary Ramirez, and Julie Gray; one son: Eugene Wheeler; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and great-great-great-grand-children.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings; two sons: Thomas "Buddy" Wheeler and Billy Wheeler; grandson: Cody Wheeler; sons-in-law: Ronnie Smith and Curtis Tuttle; the fathers of her children, and many beloved friends.
She retired from RadioShack after almost 30 years. She spent her life taking care of others and was loved by many.
A visitation for Nellie will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel, 7301 East Lancaster, Fort Worth, TX 76112. A funeral service will occur on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 1:00pm at Shannon Rose Hill Chapel. Burial will immediately follow in Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery.
