Nina Flo Roe

Nina and her family attended South Fort Worth Baptist Church during her childhood. She graduated from Pascal High School and attended Texas Wesleyan University after graduation.

Nina made her profession of faith as a child and was a faithful and devoted follower of Christ her entire life. She married Bill Roe in June of 1952 and he was drafted soon after. In 1955 their first child, Susan, was born and Bill was called to preach. He completed seminary and Nina welcomed their second child, Dwight and became a full-time pastor’s wife. Their third child, Melissa, was born in 1962. For over 50 years, their lives intertwined with different churches and people, and Bill was the one in the spotlight. But Nina was ever present at his side and demonstrated her love and faith in God to everyone and in all that she accomplished.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Rev. Bill Roe; her daughter Susan Lauderback; and her son Dwight Roe.

Nina is survived by her daughter Melissa and her husband Larry (Joe) Powell; grandchildren Blake & Mindy Lauderback, Stephen & Brenda Roe, Miranda & Cole Tucker, Jarod & Hannah Lyon; great grandchildren Nora, Julia, Harrison and Max Lauderback, Timber and Collette Tucker, Blair Lyon, Elizabeth and Tyler Roe.
