Norma was born on December 14, 1933 in Fort Worth to Samuel Collins Cunningham and Madeline Nora Hubbard Cunningham. She spent her childhood in Fort Worth surrounded by cousins that were more like sisters. She graduated from Paschal High School where she met and married Bobby Wayne Tibbets. She and Wayne moved to Corpus Christi in 1971. After Wayne passed in 1981, Norma married Rudolph G Wright. They started AAA Air Conditioning in 1983. Norma retired from AAA Air Conditioning in April of last year after 25 years.
Norma is preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Bobby Wayne Tibbets, her second husband, Rudolph G Wright, and her daughter Connie Lynn Tibbets.
She is survived by her sons, Richard Wayne Tibbets of Duncanville, Kenneth Neil Tibbets of Corpus Christi & her daughter, Lynda Roberts-Duvall of Bedford, brothers Robert Dale Cunningham of New York & Jim Sam Cunningham of Fort Worth, 5 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, and 4 great grandchildren.
Norma was a member of Trail Lake Church of Christ in Fort Worth, Windsor Park Church of Christ in Corpus Christi and most recently Flour Bluff Church of Christ.
