

Ozzie Rena Maria McCoy was born to Richard McCoy and Uzzie Mae Mosely McCoy on March 13, 1965, in Fort Worth, Texas.
She soon met the love of her life, Gabriel Ojukwu, and they united in marriage until the late 1990’s.
Ozzie worked in the corporate world as a Sprint customer service representative, and other various companies. She also became a caregiver to both, her father and younger sister.
She accepted Christ at a young age. Ozzie was an avid church participant, and found joy in attending the women’s retreat.
Ozzie attended Easter Hills High School, and graduated with B.A. degree from Liberty University.
She was a member of the Texas Girls’ Choir, Inc. She was presented as a Legacy debutante with the Fort Worth Assembly in her early years.
Ozzie laid down in the arms of our Lord God on March 1, 2021, in eternal rest until we all rise in Him. She will be missed, but forever written in our hearts.
To her legacy, she leaves her sister Lady B. Overshown ( who preceded her in death) and her husband Norris J.Overshown,Sr. Joeanna M. McCoy and husband Arthur McCoy Sr., Ex-husband Gabriel Ojukwu, and Oacie T.McCoy,. Niece Lady L. Overshown( Angel ), Nephews: Arthur McCoy Jr., Norris Overshown Jr. ( Courtney ), Jerome McCoy( Veronica ). Great nieces and nephew, Calei, Cohl and Stormi Green- McCoy, and Brooklyn Overshown.
Ozzie McCoy was loving and good to all whom she called family, neighbors,and friends.
