

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Pamela Ruth Lawshe, who left us on March 17th, 2026, at the age of seventy-three. She was a beloved mother, wife, sister, and friend. Her presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Born on October 3rd, 1952, in Alvarado, Texas, Pamela Ruth English was the child of Ellis Miller English and Ruth Delora English. Throughout her life, Pamela Ruth Lawshe was known for being funny and care-free, she had a hobby for quilting. She devoted her time and energy to her family and her dogs. She was also a dedicated detention officer for Hill county, Johnson county, CCA Venus, and Tarrant county.
Pamela Ruth Lawshe is survived with deep sorrow by her husband of thirty-six years, Bryan Lawshe; her son, Shawn and wife Mindy; daughter, Mandi and husband Michael; stepsons, Clint and Casey Lawshe; four sisters and three brothers, several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, son, Shane Rippin, two sisters, and a brother.
Serving as pallbearers will be Shawn Rippin, Clint Lawshe, Casey Lawshe, Michael Carter, Martin Evienes, Travis English, Brad Vozza, and Chase Rippin. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Steven, Jimmy, and Bobby English.
The family invites relatives and friends to a celebration of Pamela Ruth Lawshe’s life on March 25th, 2026, at 10:00 AM to be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth. A visitation will be held March 24rd, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, also at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth.
The family appreciates the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Pamela Ruth Lawshe’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
