

Patty was born on May 19, 1932 in Carrollton, Missouri, the daughter of Alex and Minnie Belle (Custer) Goodson.
On December 23rd, 1950 she married Leonard Dean Hamlin in Carrollton Missouri. After there wedding Patty and Dean relocated to Overland Park Kansas where Patty gave birth to the first of their four children. It was in 1970 that Patty became acquainted with Jehovah’s people and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1972. In January of 1974 the family moved to Erie, Pennsylvania for a brief stay prior to relocating one last time in June of 1976 to Fort Worth, Texas. Patty was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. After the loss of her loving husband on September 28th, 1981 she became involved more fully in sharing the good news of Gods Kingdom with those in her community. She served as a full time evangelizer for several years until her health condition prevented her from continuing. She will always be remembered for her kindness, love and compassion as well as her positive attitude.
Patty is survived by four children. Janet Winters of Holt, Missouri, Greg Hamlin and wife Celeste of Crowley, Texas, Scott Hamlin of Fort Worth, Texas and Lynn Medina and husband Manuel of Sherman, Texas. She also survived by seven grandchildren. Sean Winters, Misty Kinnaird, Brendan Medina, Zachary Hamlin, Brooke Medina, Eastan Hamlin and Braedan Hamlin as well as 3 great grandchildren.
Her parents, husband L. Dean Hamlin, brother Alex Goodson, Jr. and sisters Betty Goodson Moore and Nancy Goodson Fuller, preceded her in death.
