Patsy Ferne Koepp

Patsy Ferne Pilkington Koepp was born to Clayton Junior and Bonnie Roulston Pilkington on February 6, 1935 in Lipan, Texas. She married the love of her life Lloyd Koepp Jr on August 25, 1965.

Patsy graduated from the University of North Texas in 1958 with a bachelors degree in education and a master’s degree in 1965. She served as a beloved elementary educator for many years.

Patsy was a cherished mother to Pamela Koepp Russwurm Klas (Mike, deceased), Katherine Koepp Hopson (Steve, both deceased), Barbara Kay Koepp Shiflet, and Melanie Koepp Engle (David).

Patsy was the adoring grandmother to Clayton Russwurm (Leslie), Cole Russwurm, Katie Osborne (Ryan), Steven Hopson, Stephany Smith, Mathew Engle (Jessica), Kasey Engle (Adyson), Logan Engle (Makayla), Kassidy Engle, and Kailey Engle.

She truly loved her great grandchildren Cameron, Addyson, Avery, Dean, Ephriam, Coby (Brittany), Cade, Jameson, Charlie, Carter, and great-great grandchildren Lynnex, Able, Tate, and Remi.

She had several nieces and nephews she loved dearly, as well as her special Aunt Mary Dunaway.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, infant sister Bobbie Ruth, brother Tommy, and husband Lloyd Arnold Koepp, Jr. with whom she traveled the globe and everyday pathways for a life well-lived and filled with happiness.

Patsy was loved by her many friends, colleagues, fellow church members and neighbors. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. She first attended the Lipan Church of Christ, followed by Handley Church of Christ, and in her later years, College Hill Church of Christ and Edmond Church of Christ. She loved the Lord above all else.

Memories of her love and life lessons will remain with us forever.

A visitation for Patsy will be held Friday, December 6, 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Shannon Rufe Snow Drive Funeral. A funeral service will occur Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 10:00 AM at College Hill Church of Christ, 7447 N College Cir, North Richland Hills, TX 76180. Then depart for burial at 12:30pm to Bosley Cemetery, Lipan, Lipan, TX 76462.
