Funeral Service will be at 4:00pm, Saturday, January 17 at Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes.

Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery at 10:00 am on Monday, January 19, 2015.

Patsy was born on May 10, 1925 as the youngest of nine children to J. H. and Minerva Livingston. She spent her youth on the family farm in Grandview, Texas. She attended schools in Grandview and graduated from Grandview High School. Shortly after Graduation, she married J. H. “Bud” Smith. During her marriage to “Bud”, they moved around many times as he had careers with Exxon, Santa Fe Railroad, and General Dynamics. They had three children; “Smitty”, “Butch” and Patty. She worked off and on as a teller in a bank during the time they lived in Grandview. After moving to Edgecliff Village in Fort Worth, Patsy and “Bud” became actively involved in South Hills Baptist Church. After “Bud’s” death in 1985, Patsy married George Prestridge. After George passed away, Patsy remained in Fort Worth before moving to Lakeside Meadows in Osage Beach, Missouri. She is remembered as being a wonderful cook and great seamstress among many other things.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, four sisters and four brothers.

Patsy’s is survived by her two sons; J.L. “Smitty" Smith (Sande) and Keith Runde “Butch” Smith (Holly), her daughter Patty Wheat (Dallas), six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
