Service: A private family service will be held at Laurel Land Memorial Park at a later date.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to the American Alzheimer's Association.
After high school, Paul enlisted in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was stationed in Tokyo, Japan, where he met his wife Kano Okamoto. Paul and Kano later moved back to the Kansas City, Mo., area where they raised their two sons, James and Roger. Paul was active in the Kansas City Japan American Society with his wife and served as president one term. Paul and Kano moved to Fort Worth in 2014, to be near his son, Roger.
Survivors: Paul is survived by his wife of 66 years, Kano; sons, James and Roger and their spouses, Ruth and Julia; and grandchildren, Kelly, Jeffrey and Carole.
