

Evangelist Pauline Walker AKA 'Polly" was born to the late Bessie and Sylvester Creear on November 2, 1936 in Corsicana, Texas.
She graduated from Jackson High in 1933. Pauline relocated to Fort Worth, Texas in 1954. While in Fort Worth, Pauline continued her education by enrolling in cosmetology school, where she completed her career goal. Pauline also worked several domestic jobs and her greatest services was a home worker and family overseer.
Pauline excepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at Community Missionary Baptist Church under the late Elder Williams. She later united with Love Sanctuary COGIC under the late Dr. E.L. Battle. In 1992 she joined Greater Harvest COGIC under the late Superintendent W. G. Richards. As a member of Greater Harvest COGIC, she obtained her Missionary License, and her Evangelist License. She also, served as the President of the Ministers Wives' Association. Following the death of Superintendent Richards, Pauline joined and continued her missionary work at Greater St. Stephens M.B.C. under the leadership of Pastor Dwight C. Jackson. Later returning back to her home Church of Greater Harvest COGIC under the leadership of Pastor Myron L. Bridges.
In 1978 Pauline married Elder Powell Walker, and to this union 5 children were born, Jacquelyne, Grace, James,Jr., Larry and Billy Sean.
Pauline loved the Lord with her whole heart and remained faithful until her death. She lived a life of holiness being an example to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. The Lord called her home on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 10:00 pm, after a long illness. She finally heard the words she was living to hear, "Well done thy good and faithful servant."
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elder Powell Walker, Sons: Larry, James,Jr. and Billy Sean; sisters, Bessie Jean and Irene Rouse; brothers, Willie Dee and L.G. Creear.
She leaves to cherish her memory; Daughters, Jacquelyne Byars (Paul Byars, Sr.) and Grace Wade; Sister, Essie Mae Creear; Granddaughters, Paulette "Sheree" Byars, Tamique, LaQuirra and Jclesia; Grandsons, Joe, Paul Byars, Jr., Bertram, Billy "DeAndre" and Brandon; Seventeen (17) great grandchildren and a hsot of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
