

Rand Bailey Roach, 69, businessman, loving father and grandfather, devoted husband passed away May 16, 2015 in the arms of his loving family. Randy heroically battled bone marrow cancer for almost two years, succumbing but never yielding to the disease.
Randy born to Major Phil E. Roach (USMC) and wife Floyce Roach on February 13, 1946 in Fort Worth, Texas, attended Poly High School (Fort Worth), Texas Tech (lubbock), and UTA-Arlington, graduating with a Bachelor of Business Degree. He was an accomplished academic and all around athlete. He was a gentle, strong and kind man with a twinkle in his eyes and a delightful wit that brought smiles to those who met him. He was of extremely high moral character, choosing to do the right thing above all else.
He married high school sweetheart, Claudia Barnett, in December 1966, had two wonderful children and four grandchildren. They were happily married for 48 years, calling each other, "my best friend."
Randy chose a career in Printing, working for major printing companies and owning his own company.
Upon retiring, he and Claudia RVed around the United States, enjoying the beauty of the mountains and rivers, and fishing. Randy loved to fish and release fish back to the waters to grow and come back for another battle. He has now "Gone Fishin" where the really BIG ones live. He will be missed by all.
He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Claudia; son, R.E. Roach; daughter, Terri L. Roberson and spouse, Ken; and four grandchildren, Phillip and Brandon Roach and Alex and Nicholas Radford-Roach.
