After graduating from Eastern Hills High School, he spent some time in Austin and Pflugerville and then lived in California for several months. He then returned to Fort Worth where he lived for the rest of his life.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Michael McKenzie, and his mother, Bernice Havner.
He is survived by his father, Billy McKenzie and his wife, Corinna McKenzie, and her two sons, Steven and Jeffery Morrow. Also, his sister, Virginia Hurst and her husband, Carl; and his sister Jana Weiler and her husband; Don, and several aunts, uncles, nephews, and cousins.
A Graveside Service will be held at Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery on Friday, October 6th at 10am.
