Robert Donald Hall

Robert Donald Hall passed away peacefully on April 10, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 12, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois, while his parents were visiting extended family, to Terrell Lynwood Hall Sr. and Monica “Mona” Mary Gorajczyk.

He was raised in Haltom City, Texas, alongside his two close-knit brothers, both of whom preceded him in death: his older brother, Terrell Lynwood Hall Jr., and his younger brother, Jerry “T” Lynn Hall.

Robert was a proud member of the original Birdville High School graduating class of 1956 in Haltom City.

In the 1960s, Robert developed a passion for racing cars at Green Valley Raceway, where he won numerous races and trophies. He especially enjoyed building his own cars and competing behind the wheel.

During the 1970s and 1980s, he owned a lake house, where he spent much of his time bass fishing and taking pride in maintaining and improving the property.

In the 1990s, Robert embraced travel, purchasing a travel trailer and journeying across the United States, visiting many memorable destinations.

Throughout these years, he built a long and dedicated career at Bell Helicopter, retiring after 36 years of service. Never one to stay idle, he began a second career with the Census Bureau, followed by a third career in the mortgage industry, where he worked for over a decade. He found great satisfaction in helping people achieve the dream of homeownership. Eventually, he retired and enjoyed a well-earned, relaxed life.

Robert had two children, LaDusta “Dusty” (Scott) Brown and Rusty (Melissa) Hall. He loved them deeply, along with his four grandchildren: Ranson (Rachel) Stillwell, Cameron (Anne) Stillwell, Brianna (Meywin) Hall, and Ryan (Rebekah) Hall. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and friends. His family was the center of his life—he loved them fiercely and was always immensely proud of them.
