Roberto Garcia

Roberto Javier Garcia Arellano, 57, born March 4, 1959, to Rosalina Arellano Esquivel and Jose Maria Garcia Hernandez in Villa Union, Coahuila, Mexico, was called upon to be with our Lord on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, after a long, difficult battle against lung cancer.

Service: 10 a.m. Friday at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Visitation: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Rosary will be at 6 p.m. Thursday following the visitation.

Roberto will always be remembered as a good, kind-hearted, humble, hardworking gentleman. He fought for four long years with all he had to try to defeat such an ugly disease. He loved God and his family dearly, made friends anywhere he went, and always pushed those around him to smile and push forward for a better, happier life! He will be truly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Hilario "Lalo" Garcia.

Survivors: He leaves behind many family and friends who loved him dearly. He is survived by his loving wife, Silvia Garcia; his beautiful daughters, Naomi, Aracely, Mari Cruz, Itzel and Monica; his son, Ely; sisters, Maria, Martha, Rosalva and Antonia; brothers, Isaias, Lazaro, Raul, Jose and Enrique; and his grandchildren, Izaiha, Davian, Aylani, Gavriel, Yzabella, Alisia, Deric, Jazleen, Jayden and Jaycik.
