Rodney Bruce Williams, son of Loice Williams Sr. and Clarice Brown, was born September 7, 1956 in Riverside, New Jersey. He was one of three children. The Lord called him home March 21, 2018 and he was preceded in death by his father Loice Williams Sr. and older brother Loice Jr.
Rodney graduated from Burlington High School in Burlington, New Jersey. He attended Tennessee State in Nashville, TN where he studied music. He also attended Boston State College, in Boston, MA. He lived in Boston for several years to be near his older brother, and then moved to Cincinnati, Ohio to be near his sister Nadine.
To family and close friends, he was known as Bruce. Like his mother, he had an unforgettable smile with a twinkling eye. The sound of his laughter was very contagious. He truly loved his family and friends. He enjoyed music of all kinds, horticulture and sharing conversations with anybody and everybody. He was very intelligent and could discuss any topic at length.
Rodney leaves behind: mother, Clarice Brown, step-father, Larry Brown; sister, Nadine Stewart; nieces, Tiarra Bentley (Christopher); Lesley West (David); Julie Davis (Kalvin); and nephew, Loice III; host of cousins and friends.
