Rose was born in 1928 in Madison, Kansas to Ray and Guadalupe Hernandez. The family moved from Fort Scott, Kansas to Fort Worth, Texas in the early 1930’s. She was a Fort Worth resident for 80 years. Rose was employed by Monnig’s Department Store and Williamson & Dickies Manufacturing Company before retiring in 1989. She enjoyed music and dancing, knitting, crocheting, sewing and reading her bible.

Survivors: Three sons: Phillip Garcia, Jr. and wife Cecilia Garcia, Robert Garcia, Daniel Garcia all of Fort Worth; Brother, Faustino Hernandez and wife Carmen, Fort Worth; Grandchildren: Michael Garcia and Mark Garcia; Great Grandchildren: Kathryn Garcia and Camila Garcia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
