

Ross Edward Wyche, Sr. of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2025. He was 74 years old. Ross passed away at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital after complications suffered from pneumonia.
He was born in Brooklyn, New York, on August 21, 1950, to Roger and Alice Wyche. After graduating from Andrew Jackson High School, Ross joined the Air Force, where he served as a Staff Sergeant. He served in the Vietnam War and also did a tour in Turkey. After serving in the military, Ross worked in AC & Refrigeration in Baltimore, Maryland, before moving to Dallas, Texas. As a youth, he was a member of Christ Memorial Baptist Church in St. Albans (Queens). He gave his life to Christ as an adult at New Antioch Baptist Church in Randallstown, Maryland, under the leadership of Pastor Kenneth Barney.
Ross Sr. was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Alice Wyche, brother, Dennis Wyche, and sister, Sheila Cobb.
Ross Sr. is survived by his son Ross E. Wyche, Jr., daughter-in-law Niya; three grandchildren: Ross E. Wyche III, Briyana Wyche, and Cierra Wyche; brothers Barry and Mark Wyche; sister Phylis Holt (Greg); nieces, nephews, and cousins.
