Roy Willis Smith Sr.

Mr. Roy Willis Smith was born September 23, 1940 in Fort Worth, Tx. He accepted Christ early in life at Zion Baptist Church, he then later moved his membership to Grace Temple Baptist Church in Arlington, TX. He attended elementary school in Waco TX, And high school at I.M Terrell in Fort Worth TX.

He met and married Florence Lorraine Gardner on Oct 9, 1970, and have been married for 50 years. To this union two children were born Roy Smith II and Sylvia Smith.

Mr.

Smith was employed at LTV Vought as a painter, later promoted to foreman, Where he worked for 38 years. Retiring in 2002.

One of his proudest moments was becoming a Masonic Mason. After going through all the degrees of the Masons masonry he achieved his goal and became a 33rd Master Mason.

He was preceded in death by mother Lucille Crain, sister Jereline Henderson, and son Ted Dunn.

He leaves to cherish his memories are his wife Lorraine Smith, son Roy Smith II & daughter Sylvia Smith of (Arlington TX). From previous marriage, daughter Gail Smith-Crowe (Fort Worth TX), daughter Angela England (Jessie England) (Euless TX).

Son - Marlin West (Lucas TX). Eight Grandchildren - Devondric Smith, Kenard Smith (Jasmine), Lee Otis Handy, Amiyah Smith, Tyler England, Eric Maddox, Jr, Audry Ochoa, and Quincy Maddox.

One Great Granddaughter - Kendra Smith, One brother Homer Billy Crain, a sister Ginger Adams (Grand Prairie TX), and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

TRULY MISSED, BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN.
