She was born in Fort Worth on Feb. 17, 1920, to Lucille Bradley Lancaster and Homer Lancaster. She married Ernest Harrison in Fort Worth in 1938. Ernest was killed in action in World War II. She married Emmett B. Davis in 1946. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett B. Davis, and her brother, Paul Lancaster.
Survivors: Sons and daughter and their families, Joe and Evelyn Harrison of Fort Worth, Emmett and Stephanie Davis of Irvine, Calif., Jim and Mary Ann Davis of Newborn, Ga., Charles and Barbara Davis of Houston and Terry and Paula Terrel of Wellston, Okla.; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Pool of North Richland Hills; and brother, Homer Lancaster of Fort Worth.
