Samuel Asberry, age 60, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on December 22, 2025. Born on February 10, 1965, to Linda Cherry and Samuel Asberry, Samuel was a beloved son, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed.
Samuel received his formal education through the Fort Worth Independent School District, A man of strong work ethic and skill, he was employed for many years. admired for his dedication, reliability, and craftsmanship.
Samuel accepted Christ at a young age, a foundation that guided his life. His faith, humility, and kind spirit were evident in the way he loved and cared for others.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving children, Shayla M. White, Kristunya Smith, Shamyia Hickman, and Ashley Asberry; along with his grandchildren, who brought him tremendous joy.
Samuel is survived by his mother, Linda Cherry, father, Samuel Asberry(Annie) sibling, Frederick Asberry ,(Tina) One Uncle and One Auntie, Two cousins, Gary Briscoe, Gregory Brazil, Neighbor-hood friends Johnathon, Jevin, Jaten, and Andre.
As an uncle, Samuel held a special place in the hearts of many nieces and nephews who will forever remember his warm smile, jokes, and the love he shared generously.
Samuel will always be remembered as the life of the party — full of laughter, joy, and excitement. Whether enjoying holiday dinners, spending time with family, his presence lit up every room. He will truly be missed.
His legacy of love, laughter, and togetherness will forever live in the hearts of a host of relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
