Sara Jo Bruner

Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel. Interment: Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery.

Memorials: May be made in Sara's name to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society or Meadowbrook United Methodist Church.

She was born in Big Spring on Feb. 8, 1932. She graduated from Paschal High School and was married to Bobby L. Bruner on Sept. 8, 1950. Sara had a career in business and worked for International Pizza and Deli Supply Co. and I-Mark. She was a member of Meadowbrook United Methodist Church. She had a passion for her grandchildren, sewing, doll-making, reading, baking and crafts.

Sara was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son-in-law, Randy Meyers; and siblings, Roy Moore Jr. and Paula Swilley.

Survivors: Left to cherish her memory are her children, Glenda Jo Bruner Meyers, Larry Bob Bruner and wife, Kim, and Tammy Lynn Bruner McKinney and husband, Greg; grandchildren, Tracey Lynn Meyers, Keri Leigh Meyers, Lacey Leann Bruner, Kayla Michelle Bruner, Kevin Thomas McKinney and Alexander Ryan McKinney; sister, Genelle Maddux; brother-in-law, Ross Bruner; brother-in-law, C.B. Bruner and his wife, Martha; sister-in-law, Betty Moore; and many nieces and nephews.
