Our dearest children, 
    I do not know if you will ever see this but Dad and I have just now been able to look at this guest book. So many people have said such wonderful things about our sweet girl, but even better, they have seen so openly the heart of Scarlet, you and our dear Joe. The love you two have for each other is inspirational. I ache for my loss. I ache more for my precious childrens loss. I want it to be what  we dreamed of, I want the two of you to have all you ever wanted. I want to make your hurt go away. We will have good times again, Kai makes that so clear,but we will never forget Scarlet. How could we not remember with that huge hole in our hearts? There are so many memories not realized. I miss what could have been. How do you miss what never was? Why is what never happened so painful to remember? I want her in my arms so bad it hurts! You two keep taking care of each other, that is what gives me strength. We love you both,

Her passing reminds us not to take the gift of life lightly and to live every moment to its fullest. I am praying that you will allow God to heal your hearts and see joy in this world again. I'm so very sorry for your tragic loss.  I know that words cannot make the pain and sorrow go away but please know that you are lifted up in prayers.
