Shawn was born in Fort Worth and worked at Fidelity Investments for over 20 years. She retired in 2017 to travel with her husband, Charlie. They enjoyed seeing the beauty God created here on earth.
Shawn was preceded in death by her grandparents Gracie and Ralph Books; and father, Cowden Smith. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years Charlie; daughter, Hannah Wade and Kerry Sanders; son, Nathan Wade; grandchildren, Bradin, Dustin, Summer, and Whittley; mother, Joan Smith; sisters, Michelle and Brad Bingham, and Lisa and Wayne Pitts; and numerous nieces and nephews.
