Stanley Davis Harvey

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Brian and a son Kien Yao Harvey.

Stan grew up in the Nugent/ Lueders, TX area. He graduated from Lueders High School in 1965, and a graduate of Abilene Christian College.

In 1966, he married Rhonda Hansen in Abilene.

Stan spent most of his adult life preaching the gospel at numerous Churches of Christ in Texas and in Walsenburg, Colorado.

Stan loved to collect Coca-Cola memorabilia and spending time in nature. He and Rhonda were foster parents to 26 foster children. One foster child that remained part of the family was Laura Sweeney (spouse Graham). He is survived by his wife Rhonda, sons Clay (wife Stephanie), Justin (wife Summer), daughter Gina (husband Sean). A brother Gary Harvey (wife Joyce). Grandchildren Halen Harvey, Angelina Smith, Merrick Harvey, Tairyn Harvey, Kalli Harvey, AJ Kendrick, Ashton McDougle-Harvey, Briana and Zach Lopez. Great Grandchildren Zayden and Izaiah Lopez and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A a celebration of life for Stanley will be held Friday, October 4, 2024 at 11:30 AM at College Hill Church of Christ, 7447 N College Cir, North Richland Hills, TX 76180.
