Taj Nicole Carden

In loving memory of Taj Carden, born on February 28, 2000, and peacefully passed away on February 24, 2024, after bravely battling cancer. Taj was a graduate of Crowley High School in 2018, excelling as a varsity volleyball and soccer player while making her mark in track. She achieved academic excellence, graduating in the top 10% of her class and earning the title of Ms. CHS.

Furthering her passion for athletics, Taj earned her Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training from Texas Wesleyan in May 2023. Her radiant smile and selfless heart defined her as a true angel, always seeing the best in everyone and leaving a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Taj is preceded in death by her great-grandmothers JoAnn Clark and Nancy Carden (GiGi), grandmother Lesiah Carden, uncle Marieo Guerrero, and her beloved dog Buster. She is survived by her parents, Lisa Guerrero and Dedrick Carden, her brother Jordyn Carden, niece Royal Carden, bonus mom Theresa Stedifor, her person Tyler Holley, her paternal grandparents Brendley and Rachelle Whitlow, maternal grandparents Cheryl and Moices Martinez, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a vast circle of family and friends who cherished her deeply.

Taj's legacy is one of love, resilience, and kindness, and she will be remembered for her unwavering faith and the positive impact she made on countless lives. May her soul rest in peace.
