ARLINGTON -- Thomas R. Hord, Jr. born December 28, 1943 in Gorman, Texas, passed after a lengthy illness with Alzheimer's at the age of 68 on July 22. Mr. Hord was born December 28, 1943 in Gorman, Texas to Thomas Sr. and Lena Hord. In 1965 he married Marveline Dodson in Fort Worth. He served with the US Army from 1966-1968 in Vietnam. He was a member and deacon of the former First Twin Oaks Baptist Church in Fort Worth. He retired from Vought Aircraft after 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and RW Good. Survivors: wife of 47 ½ years, Marveline Hord; daughter, Kristy R. and husband Roger Reynolds; one grandson, Reagan; brothers: Alton “Bo” Hord and Roy G. Hord and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
