On November 4, 2025, Tommy Dee Wolfe passed away and entered his eternal home in heaven, joining his parents, Robert and Oleta Wolfe, and his sisters-in-law, Kay and Linda Wolfe. Robert and Oleta welcomed their second son into the world on June 28, 1943. Tommy grew up with his two brothers, Don and Bobby Wolfe.
He attended Brewer High School, where he was a standout football player. He would tell his children that when they added a facemask bar to his leather helmet, he would have to pull it down to see the field better. Soon after high school, he married his beautiful wife, Pearl Odell Wolfe (Riley), on November 27, 1963. Pearl remained faithfully and lovingly by his side for 61 years, including the morning he passed.
Tommy was a loving and devoted father to five children: Tom Wolfe Jr. (Ann Marie), Todd Wolfe (Angela), Tim Wolfe (Andrea), Tory Wolfe, and Tiffany Roberts (Joel). Pearl and Tommy still had more love to give and welcomed seven foster children into their home.
Throughout his life, Tommy enjoyed sports. He played football in school and later enjoyed playing volleyball and bowling with Pearl. Tommy encouraged and supported his children in all of their sports activities. He coached little league, threw footballs with his kids at family gatherings, spent many evenings catching fast-pitch softballs hurled by his daughter, and was always there to pick up his children after a late volleyball, baseball, football, basketball, gymnastics, or judo practice. His children remember standing at the curb, listening for the familiar rattle of his old pickup truck pulling into the parking lot to pick them up.
As his children grew up, Tommy was blessed with many grandchildren: Arielle Fritz (Nick), Madeline Wolfe (Bruce), Kyle Wolfe, Elizabeth Wolfe, Jackson Wolfe, Ava Wolfe, Bella Wolfe, Ella Wolfe, Avery Wolfe, Elowen Wolfe, and Locryn Wolfe. Papa loved seeing his grandchildren at weddings, birthdays, family gatherings, and camping trips in their RV. His children and grandchildren were always greeted with a big grin that lit up the room.
Tommy’s family continued to grow and he had 1 more child he could call George, and that was his great grandchild Otto Fritz.
Tommy lived a long, rewarding life filled with love, faith, and devotion to God.
Please join us in celebrating his life at Laurel Land Funeral Home on November 10, 2025. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM, followed by a graveside service at 2:00 PM and a reception with the family at 2:30 PM.
